The global transition towards sustainable energy systems demands educational institutions like Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) to optimize renewable energy especially Solar technologies. However, a significant challenge emerges when only 85% of photovoltaic power generated can be effectively utilized resulting in a 15% energy surplus that remains underexploited. This inefficiency reflects technological limitations and management strategies that require deep investigation thereby driving this study to propose the development electric storage for 50 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the UPSI campus as an innovative solution for leveraging this solar energy surplus.
