Abstract

The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine the relationship between directive supervision by supervisors and the managerial competence of principals in fostering KOSP (Kompetensi Inti Sekolah Penggerak/Core Competencies of Driving Schools) development within the Geyer district of Grobogan Regency. The study involved a descriptive and verification approach, with a sample of 44 elementary school principals selected through proportional random sampling, ensuring representation across gender and tenure. Results indicated a significant positive correlation between supervisors' directive supervision and the managerial competence of principals for KOSP development, suggesting that directive supervision may be an effective strategy to enhance principals' skills and subsequently promote KOSP advancement in this specific region.
